I was SO nervous leading up to my session, but once I got there, Laura was amazing! First, the makeup artist completely understood when I asked for more of a "natural glam" look since I never wear makeup (and wanted to still look like me). Then, Laura made me feel at ease, and really encouraged me to lean into the whole experience. I just received my pictures, and WOW, I'm so impressed with her work! My husband is beyond impressed as well, and we both can't believe how I came out of my shell - all thanks to Laura!!! It took me about a year to finally book my session, so the best advice I can give to any local woman with any kind of self esteem issue is DO IT! I HATE having my picture taken, but looking at these, I feel like a superhero. Highly recommend... ~ R H

I surprised myself in booking a session with Laura for a boudoir photo shoot as this is not in my comfort zone, but I am so grateful to myself that I did, and that I did it with Laura. I was so nervous walking into the studio but was met with such warmth and genuine support that my fear melted away. It is amazing how comfortable Laura makes you feel around her and then in your own skin. She is so nice, but not in a fake way at all. She is experiencing pure authentic joy in seeing the client go through this experience of enjoyment and adventure. I can not promote this experience enough. I felt more beautiful and grounded in my body than I did on my wedding day. In fact, I told Laura I wished I had known her for our wedding pictures! I had the best experience with Laura. I had never done a Boudoir photoshoot in my life and I am a naturally shy person. She made me so comfortable just chatting while she did my makeup. I ended up getting so comfortable I did full nudes. She is so good at directing you on how to position each shot. I appreciated that so much because I am not good with positioning AT ALL! We ended up going a bit over my time because things were going so well and she wanted to keep getting the best pictures. I almost cried when I saw the pictures. They were so beautiful! I felt badass and gorgeous after seeing those. I was able to take the images and make my own album and take the time to decide which photos I wanted to use. I would never have considered participating in a boudoir session if it wasn’t for my complete confidence in Laura’s ability to make me feel comfortable and taken care of. This was my first time doing a boudoir photography session and it was the most comfortable I have ever been in my own skin. At first, I was worried that I might walk away from the experience feeling more self- conscious about my body, but it had the complete opposite effect. Working with you, and seeing my final photos was the most validating and empowering experience I have had with my body. I look at my photos and keep thinking "Wow! I am beautiful!" It was honestly the perfect day. I surprised my husband with the album for his wedding gift and he was absolutely blown away. I just did my 3rd boudoir photo session. I was nervous going in this time because I had gained almost 20lbs since my last session. Menopause is not being very nice to me. But both Laura and Shar made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. I wasn't sure how these pictures were going to turn out. She makes you so relaxed and comfortable but is also so fun and makes these photos into something incredible! I can’t stop looking at these photos! My boudoir experience with Laura was amazing from start to finish. As a naturally introverted person, I was surprised to find myself feeling so comfortable the entire shoot.
